Air Duct Cleaning
Should You Have The Air Ducts In Your Home Cleaned?
Research by the EPA has determined that our indoor environment has two to five times more pollutants than outside air.
Your home’s air ducts are subject to accumulation of debris. This debris can be a lot of things – dust, hair, hold, mildew, and even insects – all of which congregate in air ducts. This accumulation of debris in your air ducts can be a health risk and reduce the efficiency of your heating and cooling systems.
Allergen and mold accumulation in your air ducts can exacerbate allergies and cause sickness. Many types of mold can cause respiratory issues when inhaled. Mold can cause serious health issues such as asthma and allergic reactions if not taken care of.

Like always, our state-of-the-art equipment makes a big difference in our ability to deliver outstanding results. With duct cleaning and vent cleaning, we use the HEPA-filtered portable vacuum collection unit.
This powerful vacuum is connected to the main trunk line where it works hard to collect dirt, dust and other contaminants that are lodged deep within the ventilation system. A variety of agitation tools are used to dislodge the dirt and debris. Then, we blow compressed air through each air duct to ensure that the vacuum removes any dirt loosened during agitation.
Here’s a detailed look at the entire duct cleaning and vent cleaning process:
Step 1 – Our trained technicians begin with a pre-cleaning inspection and consultation.
Step 2 – Next, we use a HEPA-filtered vacuum to systematically clean:
-
Furnace
-
Evaporator coil
-
Blower
-
Vent covers
Step 3 – The vacuum is connected to the main trunk (supply and return) line to collect dirt, dust and other contaminants lodged deep within the system.
Step 4 – A variety of agitation tools dislodge the dirt and debris
Step 5 – Then, we blow compressed air through each air duct to ensure that the vacuum removes any dirt loosened during agitation.
Step 6 – When the cleaning is complete, we conduct a final inspection with before-and-after photos.
